First Visit

Your initial appointment will typically consist of a comprehensive examination by one of our doctors, a periodontal (gum) evaluation by a dental hygienist, x-rays if appropriate, and review of your treatment options and associated costs.

If you are experiencing pain or a dental emergency please call our office and we will schedule you for a problem focused exam with one of our doctors to immediately address this concern

Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:

  • Please bring your insurance information with you to your first visit so that we can help estimate your out of pocket costs
  • Any x-rays taken by a previous dentist, if applicable.
  • A list of medications you are presently taking.

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment (i.e., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, medications for osteoporosis etc.).

X-Rays

If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office.  We are able to take any necessary x-rays at your appointment.
